By the time she was 22, she had already won her title as Miss USA. She was the second African-American woman in history to ever win the crown. Kenya Summer Moore is a model, author, and former beauty queen. Born on January 24th, 1971, Moore first rose to prominence as the 1993 winner of Miss Michigan USA. Before her pageant career, Moore spent her early years being raised in Detroit, Michigan being raised by her grandmother and aunt. She later went on to graduate Cass Technical High School and then attended Wayne State University as a psychology major.
