The American Rapper Future was born Nayvadius DeMun Wilburn on November 20th, 1983. He was raised in Atlanta, Georgia, by his Haitian parents. His cousin, who was a producer for The Dungeon family, called him “The Future” and told him he should pursue a career in Hip Hop. He adopted this as his stage name and began recording.
